SBI customers can do unlimited free transactions State Bank of India (SBI), the largest government bank in the country, provides 8 to 10 free ATM transactions per month to its customers. After crossing the free transaction limit, the bank charges a fixed charge from its customers on every transaction. SBI also offers unlimited free ATM transactions to its customers. But for this, the customers have to fulfill certain conditions of the bank.

Let's know which condition must be fulfilled ...


(1) Minimum balance to be kept in the account - If you want unlimited free ATM transactions, then you have to keep a monthly average balance of Rs 1 lakh in your account. Only then you will be able to do unlimited free transactions from State Bank of India Group (SBG) ATMs. RBI has directed SBI to provide a certain number of free ATM transactions to its customers every month.


(2) This is the limit for monthly ATM transactions - Currently, SBI account holders get 8 free ATM transactions in Metro City every month. In this, 5 transactions can be done from SBI ATMs and 3 transactions from ATMs of other banks. For the non-metro city account holder, this limit is 10 free transactions per month. On crossing this limit, a charge of Rs 5 (GST Plus) to Rs 20 (GST Plus) has to be paid.

(3) 10 Free Transactions - SBI account holders retaining a monthly average balance of Rs 25,000 get 10 free transactions per month from any ATM of State Bank of India Group.
